The Lake Juliette Sailing Club would like to extend an official invitation to the members of OSYC to join us this Saturday night for our Moonlight Sail. July 19 Work Day

July 19 Work Day We have a work day scheduled for this coming Saturday. We will start about 9 and finish by noon. Arlene Mueller will prepare the traditional lunch of dogs and beans or whatever she decides.
Projects for the Day
Cut Grass and Weed Eat. -Gutter on front of Clubhouse needs additional braces installed.
Cut off and remove remaining two old dock poles. We removed the big one last week.
Caulk Gutter near the mail entrance.
Blow off roof, deck and under deck.

July 4th Weekend

The forecast for the weekend looks good: Highs in the upper 80’s, lows in the lower 70’s and wind about 8 mph. Well we could stand a little more wind. The weather has been great for the last week. I have been sailing 4 of the last 5 days and have had good wind and relatively low temps. The wind was so strong one day that the Beneteau had the tip of the mast in the water one time. OSYC is a private club and membership is by sponsored invitation only. Non-members are invited to attend events listed on this site as "open" events, and may attend other club events as a guest of a member. OYSC is currently seeking membership applications from interested sailors; please contact any board member for more information.

The Club does not allow pets on the grounds. The club is located just north of Milledgeville, Georgia on Lake Sinclair and facilities include: clubhouse with showers, paved launch ramp, boat slips up to 25', camping, beach and swim area.
